These are common to replace as they are prone to fail. When a PCV valve has failed it can cause vacuum and boost leak, it can also flag up with a fault code.
 
Indication that the PCV has failed can make a high pitch suction sound and the car maybe hunting on idle.
 
Does not come with the seal.
