The TFSI/TSI platform use a diverter valve system to relive the boost track of its preasure , this is only a good system when it is working correclty! 
 
The Diverter valves are prone to ripping and this causes a major boostleak ! This is not always noticable as you will only notice a decrease in power. 
 
The G revision is the latest model of this part and is the recomended replacement.
